Update: The food is still great, but watch out for increased prices through Yelp ordering.* Wagyu Meat & Grill is one of my favorite local spots for teriyaki bowls. I've been coming here for years, and the food has been consistently delicious. The staff is friendly and quick to prepare orders. The menu is easy to read and has excellent options. Most of my visits are take-out and rarely dine-in. My favorite is regular bowls with macaroni salad. I've had the wagyu beef, chicken, and spicy kurobuta pork, and they are all delicious, tender, and flavorful. The bowls and plates also have the option to mix half and half proteins. Remember to ask for extra teriyaki and hot sauce. The house-made mac salad is also delicious, with the right amount of creaminess and a little bit of carrot, peas, and corn. Burgers, chicken sandwiches, and salmon plates are available on the menu! In addition to the cooked food menu, Wagyu Meat & Grill offers premium butchered meats you can purchase and prepare at home. Popular wagyu cuts, boxed galbi, and wagyu patties are available. The prices vary depending on supply and market rates. It's a nice treat to cook quality meat at home on occasion. One day, I'll pick up a ribeye for dinner. *NOTE: Although the online ordering service through Yelp is a great and convenient feature, and my order was prepared within the time expected for pick up, I was surprised at the costs. After comparing the prices when ordering in-store versus through the Yelp app that uses ChowNow, the cost for the convenience is apparent. I spent $25.21 through the Yelp app and $22.08 when I ordered over the counter for the same item. Choose your convenience. Due to the extra fees, I don't usually order through food ordering services. I just wanted to give a heads-up.

I'm a simple man who indulges consistently in the same food over long stretches of time. The beef bowls here are legit, and have been eating them for lunch consistently for the last 2 years, at least 3-4 times a week. I hate Mac salad, but the Mac salad here is by far the best Mac salad I've ever had, and the only Mac salad I will eat. Worth the upgrade. The crew here are very nice. Complemented the owner once and they gave me a discount. I'm at the point now where they start cooking what I eat before I even order because they know me. Best beef bowls around!

I dropped in for Lunch as an alternative to Moss 2, and I'm so glad I made this last-minute decision. I ordered the Galbi ribs plate, which comes with kale and cabbage salad (separate salads) and a bed of rice. I'm one person, and I was struggling to finish, but it was $20, so I knew I had to finish it all haha The location is in a strip mall with a good amount of parking. The inside is pretty plain. They have two refrigerators where they sell galbi and bulgogi (not cheap, but delicious, so worth it). I wouldn't recommend it to big families. It's more of a "pick up and go" type of place. There's some seating outside, too! Service was quick! My galbi plate took 10 minutes. The young gentleman at the front was very friendly and helpful. Will I return? Yeah absolute!

Taaasty! Been here a few times and they are consistently good! It's like a higher grade Flame Broiler. I like how they give the option the choose sides, can make for a pretty healthy meal!

Food is always top tier! I moved away unfortunately and can't always enjoy it like I used to when I lived in Buena Park. Anytime I go visit family I always take some food with me for the drive home!

Because Wagyu is in the name of their place, I need to see if there's a significant difference. The place is a bit small with a few tables. It didn't feel too inviting, but their menu board was pretty self explanatory. The person that took our order was nice and friendly. We both ordered combination plates which comes with a choice of two meats, cabbage slaw and a kale salad. My wife went with the Wagyu beef and spicy pork as I went with the Wagyu beef and the chicken. We ordered teriyaki sauce on the side as most places get heavy handed with the teriyaki and the Wagyu beef is also marinated, so I didn't want to lose the flavor of the meat. The spicy pork was ok, but it wasn't a favorite. The chicken was actually really good. Well cooked and not too dry. A little bit of teriyaki sauce was just perfect. The Wagyu beef was good, not too sweet since I did not add anymore teriyaki sauce, but I was slightly disappointed because I guess when Wagyu is cooked well done and it's been marinated, you can't really tell that it's any different from a non-Wagyu grade. It was still worth the try. What I find interesting is they do sell different cuts of American Wagyu which would be great to take home and bbq it yourself. Worth the try. Maybe next visit I'll try the Galbi plate.

I was actually attempting to go somewhere else that evening but the place was closed and this place was open on my way home. I got the grilled chicken with kale and macaroni salad which turned out to be pretty good. Service was quick and noticed all the wagyu meats in the freezers. You can get your house party all the good meats from here and bring home to bbq or smoke in the safety of your own home. I'll swing by here next time I'm wanting a kale salad. They have their own parking lot so no need to walk from far away.

Very tasty food at a reasonable price. We got a couple of wagyu beef plates and the meat was very good quality and very well flavored and cooked. The side salads, cabbage and kale, were both delicious too. They also sell meat of various types from galbi to a5 wagyu, to take home and cook yourself. Highly recommend this place.
